The benchmark set by Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2 are quite high and Samsung has to dazzle the fans with something which is much better than these devices and every other device on the market. Samsung has started working on 8 core processor. Practically, a quad core processor is more than enough for any present Android app or whatever functionality you can think to use on our phone. People hardly use applications which will need more juice than what is given out by a Quad Core processor.We're pretty sure that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will not have it 8-core processor but it would be quite interesting to see what else they could do to enhance a processor and chipset.
