Taking Screenshot on Nexus 6 - Way to Printscreen


If you have been keeping eye on latest tech news, you might know that Motorola Nexus 6 has made quite a buzz. Google Nexus is one of the popular smartphone series and its latest addition Motorola Nexus 6 does support Capturing a your display screen.

How to Screenshot - Printscreen Nexus 6

The screenshot which is also called as Print screen is quite common now days with almost all the major device supporting it. Android OS has a default hot keys to capture a screenshot from ICS - Ice Cream Sandwich. If you would like to take a screenshot then please follow Instructions.

How to screenshot Nexus 6


Step 1: Go to screen which you would like to capture - It can be a high score of any Game or Facebook app or anything else.
Step 2: Press Power key and Volume down keys together.
Step 3: You may have to hold the both keys for few seconds.
Step 4: If above steps are followed correctly, some animation will be shown and thumbnail of your print screen will be shown.

To view your screenshots, open the Gallery app. You will need a file explorer to locate the image in the folder named 'Screenshots'.

Google Play has many third party apps to capture a screenshot and you can definitely try some of the screenshot apps.

Troubleshooting your steps

If you are still not able to take a print-screen, Then you might have to repeat your steps from 1 to 3. It is necessary to hold the buttons together for some time.

Nexus 6 is the first device in a Google's series to have a water resistant smartphone, There are certain limitations of this feature and you can keep it immersed in water for but it should be able to withstand normal exposure to water.
