Sony Xperia S Cases- Executive Flip case by STK

Sony Xperia S was the first phone NXT phone from Sony and quickly became a popular choice for Android smartphone users. The moment you manage to get your hands on one of the best smart phone from Sony so you're now of course looking for a great Xperia S case to protect your prized possession. We will be reviewing executive Flip Case by STK which I am currently using for my phone. I always prefer and suggest using a flip case as it protects your screen when necessary while still maintaining a business-like feel to it.

STK Sony Xperia-S Flip Case

First thing you notice about the case is its classic leather style outer flap. It comes in two-tone combination, black from outside and chrome yellow from inside which looks elegant. The phone fits perfectly into the flexible 'hard' plastic frame protecting the edges of the device and leather back and front cover protect the rest. The best thing about the case that it provides complete protection to your Xperia phone. Unlike other flip covers, it has hard plastic frame which supports the back of your phone and offers decent protection in case of a fall.
With the charging pin

Backside with the magnetic flap

The phone has all the necessary cut-outs to access the camera, charging slots etc  are all in alignment and the sizes are wide enough for the cables to fit in without any intrusion. The magnetic latch provided does it's job to keep it closed unlike a lot of the flip covers.

The case is great when it comes to offering protection for your phone but it comes with few downsides. The biggest problem we had was that it made the phone a bit bulky and around 2 cm thick. Xperia S already is heavy phone and with cover it feels almost too thick to fit into the pocket. The cases has its own power and volume buttons instead of having cut-outs which seemed stiff at the start but once you will get used to it, doesn't cause much of a problem.

In conclusion the case is quite good to start with at its price. If your main concern is protection for your smartphone and you are okay with bulky case, it's the perfect choice.
